Finally made the journey down to the southern hemisphere. We all flew into Sydney, Australia and took a bus down to Canberra where Troy's house would be our home base for a little. We rented a massive van and took a full row of seats out to fit our bikes in to road trip around. The first day was spent in Canberra where Troy brought us to some of his local parks and spots before we start the trip up to Sydney in the next video. https://www.ftecollective.com/collections/new-products/products/fte-x-aus
This one had been on the bucket list for awhile. I had vague memories of seeing photos of a full pipe somewhere in Northern California a few years back that you had to float across a river to get to. As we were driving down the west coast, I made a couple calls and was able to get the pin. So after we left Woodward, we piled in Mason's van and headed north. We camped in a Walmart parking lot, woke up, bought the supplies we needed and made our way to the pipe. After a slight slip up with...
Woodward West was kind enough to offer us another week at camp, so we managed to round everyone up for our annual family reunion. We did a lot of bike riding and spent almost as much time in the gym hurting ourselves on trampolines. We also formed a band and played Free Bird for the talent show. Huge thank you to Jake Kinney and Dustin Orem for making this all happen and for all the campers for hanging out and riding with us.
We stayed in Oregon to ride more parks for as long as we could before we had to head to California to pick up Troy. He flew in from Australia and we took him to Vegas immediately. Where we proceeded to get kicked out of casinos because Ian is 17. We also ended up at Zion and Joshua Tree. Tristan, Marcel, John, and Zach also flew in before we head to Woodward West for FTE Week.
Woke up on the side of the road to horses walking by the van in Jackson, Wyoming. We explored the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, went cliff diving/showered, and rode some incredible skateparks throughout Idaho. Including a massive 13 foot bowl with a full pipe in it. One of the craziest parks we've ever been to. It also took us 2 days/attempts to see Crater Lake in Oregon. And of course rode some more skateparks in Oregon because you have to.
